I’m so sorry for all of my updates recently being this challenge, and nothing else! I’m currently in the middle of booking a holiday to Tokyo (I know!), so I’ve been somewhat preoccupied. I will get my Danganronpa posts, as well as my nominations done very soon though!
This is another one of those ‘The possibilities are endless’ questions, as my favourite genre is of course, battle shounen. Therefore, in terms of favourite attacks…I could definitely go on.
I guess I can narrow it down to one, though (the urge to repeat shows is strong, but I’m resisting!
DAY 23 – FAVOURITE ATTACK SOMEONE USED IN AN ANIME
DRAGON OF THE DARKNESS FLAME (YU YU HAKUSHO)
For someone so small, Hiei is super scary. I mean, I know he’s a demon. I know that his original purpose was to eliminate Yusuke. But for the most part, some may even view Hiei as…dare I say, cute?
But…yeah, no. Hiei really is a beast. If his sharp sass wasn’t enough to convince you, then his dragon flame will. Hiei channels his entire spirit energy into its summoning (and if he’s pissed, you can only imagine how scary this could be), with demons and troubled spirits from the underworld merging to create one terrifying black flame.
If you’re in the way of Hiei’s flame then, I’m sorry to tell you, but you’re dead. The dragon consumes everything in its path. Whilst it may not be powered by brute strength like many strong attacks in anime, I think the sheer hatred that it wields is enough to make anyone run for the hills. Yu Yu Hakusho is full of amazing fighters, but Hiei is definitely my favourite.
